Robbie Fulks & Jason Eady

Robbie Fulks is a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. His latest release, "Bluegrass Vacation," returns to his bluegrass roots with master musicians like Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas. It features 11 original songs and a cover of the Delmore Brothers, exploring themes like small-town life, childhood memories, love, divorce, and bluegrass itself.

His 2017 album "Upland Stories" received critical acclaim and two Grammy nominations. Born in York, Pennsylvania, Fulks grew up in several small towns and learned guitar and banjo from his father and records by Earl Scruggs and John Hartford. He moved to Chicago in 1983, joined the Special Consensus Bluegrass Band, taught at the Old Town School of Folk Music, and worked as a songwriter in Nashville. His early solo albums helped define the "alternative country" movement.

Fulks' recent projects include a duo record with Linda Gail Lewis and a reinterpretation of Bob Dylan's "Street-Legal." Beyond music, he enjoys Charles Mingus, P.G. Wodehouse, quantum mechanics, and rye whiskey.

Jason Eady is a songwriter known for his soulful writing and genre versatility, blending blues from Mississippi and Texas sounds. Eady's music remains authentic, resonating with audiences and pushing the boundaries of genre and form.
