Eric Benét on Tour - 8:30pm
Eric Benet, born and raised in Milwaukee, grew up immersed in music, inspired by his harmonizing siblings and music magazines. Early on, he realized the formula: family + love = music. In college, he formed the group Benet with his sister and cousin, landing a record deal with EMI in 1991. After the group's initial struggle and his sister's departure, Eric persevered, balancing single fatherhood and a job at UPS. His dedication paid off when Warner Bros Records released his acclaimed second album, "True to Myself," in 1996, followed by his first #1 single, "Spend My Life," in 1999.
Teaming up with producer David Foster, they released the successful "Hurricane" album in 2005. Eric also ventured into acting, starring in TV series like "Snap" and "New York Undercover." Motivated by his early career challenges, he co-founded JBR Creative Group with Alison Ball to support and respect artists. Their latest project is his album "Duets."
Eric supports his wife Manuela Testolini’s charity, In A Perfect World, which builds schools in impoverished countries. The couple lives in Los Angeles with their children, Lucia and Luna.
